Going forward, how often do you think it’s realistic for your team to make the playoffs?

For UGA I’d say 70% of the time or better.

As long as Kirby is coaching Georgia and Nick is coaching Bama I’d agree with that.

If we still had division play I’d put it at 90%

For at least the next 4-5 years at Texas 75-80%.
I'm not sure about LSU.

in a 4 year period at Texas..

0 of 4 = fired
1 of 4 = hot seat
2 of 4 = expectations

That seems realistic imo.

For Bama I’d say 100%.

Coaching changes at the top could change it for any team.

Based on how things have gone, probably about 15% of the time. This would be the fourth time Mizzou made an appearance since 2007 if the 12-team Playoff existed during that time.

Top 12 - LSU, UGA and Bama should probably be in that zone every year unless they’re transitioning.

I see him retiring in the next 2-3 years.

Neighborhood just got tougher with OU/Texas joining. I thin SEC can expect 3 every year and 4 sometimes.

Bama
LSU/UGA/OU/Texas (all more often than not).
Another team most years.

Coaching changes at any school can impact this greatly, so this is with current HC.

I think the Ole Miss expectation should be top 12 at least once every 3 years.

Ole Miss has been in a NY6 bowl game 2 of the last 3 years and 4 of the last 10 years.

About half the time. We are around 10-12ish in the recruiting rankings and at least in theory have a scheme/coaching advantage over most teams, so that should be completely fair IMO to account for "rebuild" years every program will have, injury-riddled seasons, years with a tougher schedule than normal, etc.

1 in 4 years will have people a little restless. 3 in 4 I don't think is realistic. so if a coach averages 1.5-2.5 out of every 4 I think they will be able to stay as long as they want assuming it isn't always first round exits.

Bama will likely make it every season we lose 2 or fewer games.

You’ll absolutely see schools firing coaches who make the playoffs most years but never win it all.

Bama/UGA/LSU/OU/Texas/UF/UT/AU/ATM all think they should be there every year

That’ll be true for almost all, if not all, SEC teams.

With East/West going away, we will have to be in a serious rebuilding phase, and that ain’t happening due to how Kirby recruits, to not make it moving forward.

These are the teams that feel they should be in it every year

Bama
UGA
Tex
Oklahoma
LSU

Clemson
Oregon
USC
Michigan
Ohio St
Penn St

Obviously this isn't going to happen and other teams are going to get in.

60-70%. If Dan Lanning can figure out how to recruit a better defense. Basically just need to lose 2 games a year and beat some combo of Ohio state / Michigan / UW / Penn state yearly and ducks should make it in regularly. Seems like we will be top 8 in recruiting classes yearly now.
