Stupid decision. You gotta punt there & hope you get it back with 5-6 minutes left in a 2 score game. Even if you get the first down, you’re 80+ yds away from scoring.

Maybe not dropping the punt but if you watched the game you’d know there is a much better chance of the Bama D forcing a 3 and out than making a 4th and 2 with no running game.
Also, on your own 12 you guarantee a 3 score difference which is ballgame.

If you punt you're basically relying on a miracle (fluke turnover or onside kick). It was 4th and 2, I know everybody likes to second guess and hindsight is 20/20 but it's laughable people are questioning this decision.
