Egg Bowl 1983. I was there. Still can’t believe it.

I’m grateful for all the WTF moments growing up in Houston as an Oilers fan. They prepared me for my college football team of choice.

We deployed a never before seen defensive strategy of leaving two Florida receivers uncovered on two different plays. Surprisingly it didn’t work.

Actually I am as surprised as you are that Florida team didn't frick it up somehow.

Sicne you said not college as well. When the Saints came back and won a thriller in Minneapolis, only to have a defensive back not look where to tackle a receiver and have him score a td. Honorable mention, the next year when our receiver got decleated as the ball approached, which would have led to a chip shot field goal after 3 kneels to go to the super bowl.

1983 vs Penn St.

Player catches a TD for a win, refs call it incomplete. Penn St wins.

Forgot about that game. The immediate boos from the dawg fans when he gets stuffed makes that video.

A more recent WTF moment I can remember is the 2014 aTm game. The way that game ended with the damn snap when Marshall wasn't expecting it tanked the rest of that season.

1987 Elite Eight, Indiana Coach Bobby Knight pounds the scorers table arguing a last second call, knocks a phone from the table to the floor and isn't issued a technical. Indiana scores, wins the game and goes on to the Final Four.

That wasn't the WTF moment.

Dale Brown says about Knight after the game "I'd like to be locked in a room with him naked, and wrestle it out Gladiator style. We'd see who the real man is." WTF

3 games come to mind.In 83 at Happy Valley Preston Gothard's potential game winning td catch being ruled out of the end zone when he was in(34-28 Penn St).In the 94 Sec championship against the Gators down 17-16 with 8min & change to go Dwayne Rudd picks a pass off & runs it in for the td to give #2Bama a 23-17 lead. Stallings inexplicably kicks the extra point instead of going for two. Florida scores a td kicks the extra point & wins 24-23.06 against Arkansas Leigh Tiffin missed 3field goals & an extra point. Shula kept sending him out there even on 4 & 1 on a few of them. The Hogs win in OT 24-23 because we missed an extra point.
