It’s funny bc he would’ve gotten playing time with Mitchell and smith out for much of the season.
He wouldn’t have been in a situation which frightened him so much that he hit a woman.
He would be headed to Atlanta, probably twice if things pan out.

A couple of years ago, I would have said it was low class to throw shade at a student athlete because of a decision to transfer. Now, in the day of NIL and guys transfering just to chase money....

It turns out that to get Jameson Williams results, you have to actually be as good as Jameson Williams.

So 8f he was really good at wr, it would have shown up even more at UGA. Bamas youngs guys beat him out just like our young guys.

Nfl for him maybe practice squad, thats his ceiling.

He wasn't good at UGA. He hasn't been good at Bama. I never expected him to be the savior of a really average WR group.

Can’t be too mad at Burton. After all, with the transfer portal, it’s very common for players to transfer down to a slightly worse team to not have to worry so much about playing time in a slightly less competitive atmosphere.

I thought he played pretty well, just wasn't targeted as much last year because we were more run heavy

In speaking about both Burton and Ricks:
Ricks - it actually makes sense he went to Bama. We really weren't good his 2 years at LSU and we fired the head coach and basically the whole coaching staff that recruited him at LSU. I think any realistic LSU fan would tell you that, prior to the season and even after the season started, we wouldn't be in the position we currently are in! It makes sense that he saw Bama as the best odds to play meaningful football in the last year he was going to play college football.
Burton - completely opposite of Ricks. He played for the national championship team last year! He was top 3 in basically every single receiving statistic last year. While Georgia was losing some guys, most pundits thought they would be good again this year! I truly do not understand why he would leave that situation to go to Bama. What is also just truly poetic is that Georgia is doing much better in almost every single passing statistic this year than they were last year!

It should also be noted that we are literally talking about the dumbest age group of young men that exists on the face of the earth. If you aren’t willing to admit you were a stupid jackass that made a lot of bad decisions between 18-22 years old you’re a liar.
Still funny to laugh at them when they do stupid shite tho.

Burton probably liked the thought of a Heisman winner throwing him the ball. No one thought Alabama would have two losses at this point.
