This whole thing started because we got penalized for taunting after doing horns up after a touchdown, and then later got penalized for taunting for doing guns down against Tech. That shite isnt going to fly and it wont in the SEC either.
We dont give a shite about horns down, but we do give a shite when we get penalized for doing the same thing.

Horns down penalty was applicable if an opponent does it to a Texas football player. Apart from that the player can Horns Down his teammates, the crowd, or the sky.
It was just an extension of taunting regulation in regards to opposing players behavior towards each other.
B12 already had a taunting penalty.
How horns down would be enforced was left ambigous, with no clear definition. This is all because of the hypocritical coach, Pee Wee. Your QB the last few years, cried about it regularly.
