Bama has some sweating to do and hope for complete carnage!
lol... Bama has a weight off of their backs.

All they can do is play their schedule at this point. A path is there for the CFPs, but a New Years 6 game would be nice as well.

That said, complete carnage is not a requirement. For example, if OU loses to Baylor and then wins the Big 12 (feasible) while either Oregon or Utah win the PAC with 2 losses, and LSU wins the SEC... Bama is in.

Personally, I dont think they deserve it. Woefully unprepared at home in the first half vs LSU. Good adjustments, and Tua stepped up once in rhythm and a whole lot of pain. But, they simply gave too many points, opportunities and miscues to LSU. Not a championship team. Next year will be worse. But, 2021 is setting up for a strong, very competitive team.

Personally, I'm okay with that, as are many fellow Bama fans.

to LSU and O. Hope they take it all the way... assuming Bama doesn't slip into the playoffs

Walking out in the woods one day, I spotted a skunk. Not having ever encountered a skunk before, it took me about 5 seconds or so to even identify it. And that is a long time, if you think about it. I mean, it doesn't take 5 seconds to determine that a tree is a tree, does it?

It was so odd looking. It had a white back and black underpinnings and was running towards me. It looked like a Slinky running down a set of stairs as it charged me with the fluidity of a rock.

But then, it stopped about 10 feet away from me. After it stopped, it immediately turned around I realized it wasn't turning to run away but was getting ready to spray me.

Before it fully set itself to spray, I ran like a corndog running from sanity. I come back to the area about 15 minutes later and the smell was so horrible I had to hold the vomit back.

That fricker had tried to spray me.

The reason I stated that was pretty simple my experience in big business and all the corporate boards I have been on and involved with.
I picture a somewhat less eloquent and certainly more "rednecky" version of this...

Do you think the US-Canada-Mexico agreement will be voted on soon?

Have you discussed with Speaker Pelosi?

Will the Turks allow peace for the Kurds?

I agree with you 100%.

My comments were about just “one” scenario should it happen. And that scenario is; if LSU, Clemson & OSU win out and Oregon is the PAC-12 champ they will jump Bama in the standings, assuming Baylor doesn’t go 13-0.

Hold my feet to the fire on that scenario, if it comes up and doesn’t play out the way I say I will be on here to take my arse whoopin

Even with all your corporate experience in the business world and your most likely extreme wealth, I bet you've never encountered a wild skunk out in the woods have you?

All those many degrees you have wouldn't have helped you then, would they?

Be honest.

Dude....

Bro....

Nothing you have said in any part of this thread hasn't already been covered ad nauseum by multiple posters from all different schools. Over and Over. Every Bama fan understands it. We all understand what Finebaum is trying to do. He wants to call into question the Committee's motives if things don't go their way.

Please before you start any more threads on the topic, read some of the hundreds of threads that have been posted here. Then, if you think you have a new angle that hasn't been discussed, give it a shot.

Oh, and don't come in here acting like a Prince talking to the Paupers. We don't care what your job is. This is sports talk. Try to keep up!

It's funny the way he has described himself as a board member of many powerful corporations and this gives him unique insight into the College Football Playoff Committee's actions that us common folk can't grasp.

Then he uses terms like Paul Finefrickhead and gumpsters to illustrate that he is, indeed, a very learned and distinguished business man that retired very early due to his intelligence.

I dont know. Physicality is not his MO. That lil' silver tongued, french pole cat can be pretty persuasive and is certainly tenacious enough to wear down the mildly resistant.
