Maybe, but UGA was better in Nov than they were Labor Day, as is OSU

Nonsense. This is the rant. Only homers and trolls who post in here can have their teams improve throughout a season.

I think right now the favorite has to be in the OSU/UGA side of the bracket with a mixture of talent and coaches having done it before

The experience factor is a good point, Buckeye.

I will say IU and Texas Tech have fantastic defenses. They are schematically sound and have good players also. Both will be tough to score against, and defense travels in post season.

I've watched all IU games this year...they are legit and can beat everyone. Losing the DE Daly is huge, that guy was their best disruptor on DLine and would routinely win 1:1's.

I think they are really good. I have a couple things that I'm not sure how much impacted the B1GCG but excuses are like A-Holes so here we go haha

1. Indiana had a bye week then played Purdue before OSU while OSU played two weeks in a row and finished @Michigan. Cig basically said they had been gameplanning for 3 weeks to play OSU and I would hope OSU was gameplanning for Michigan at least until that game
2. OSU had a ton of "noise" the week of the B1GCG - NSD where they lost Hartline the morning of, Chris Henry Jr fallout there and Patricia got called/interviewed for PSU on Wednesday
3. I wonder if Indiana still has that "stigma" where you look at the name/jersey and just can't get as amped up as if you are playing a known team. It's stupid because they have been one of the best 10 teams 2 years in a row but I do wonder if that still happens.

Georgia will beat the Ole Miss/Tulane winner

The real challenge is in the semis, in the Fiesta Bowl against either Ohio State, Texas A&M, or Miami FL....

Outside of those teams, I think they would be the favorite to win it all.

Indiana and Texas Tech have good teams, but I don't know if they have enough to get past Georgia

don't really think Bama's defense is all that great right now compared to some of the other playoff teams.

Right Bama is a good defense but not elite.

Hey bro....UGA was banged up in that game as well, including missing our starting cente

Other than your starting center it was a few scrub players. Our starting center was playing on one foot. Our left guard was out, our QB was injured and could barely play through severe back pain, our starting RB was out, our starting DT was out.....I'm not taking anything away from Georgia, they were very impressive but to pretend Georgia's injury situation was comparable is laughable.

Our top 2 big wr targets were both out, so your post already failed. Should I read the rest after that fail of yours?

Joel Aguero
Colbie Young
Jordan Hall
Drew Bobo
Noah Thomas
Kyron Jones

All of those were starters who did not play versus Alabama. That is comparable.

That is a fairly long list, yet the guy tried to act like it was just one good player. Also, one of our best RBs only got token carries at the end, and then got hurt again, proving he probably should have rested more.

It wouldn't matter if our players were playing in body casts, you wouldn't hear me whine and complain. I NEVER lean on the injury excuse thing. There was an old Bama poster on here a while back, who I think has already gone on to that great football stadium in the sky, but he openly chastised other Bama posters for whining about the Metchie / Williams thing. He said a great, wise saying that sums it up greater than any other..."Championship teams have championship depth."

Ole Miss has to game plan for Tulane. Can’t look past them. UGA is expecting OM to win against Tulane and is spending 3 weeks planning for them.

This is the type of response that makes our fanbase look like idiots. Tell everyone why we match up well. For example, I think we match up with Oregon well because our offense can run on their defense. I don’t get the same type of positive vibes that we can run on OSU or Texas Tech as well as Oregon. Indiana also presents problems to our running game

I can’t speak for other coaches but I can guarantee Smart has a plan to not allow that to happen again. He will change a lot from his approach last season.

Ole Miss is breaking in their HC and getting a warm up game against Tulane. If I was them I would just say frick the spread and prep for Georgia instead.

Georgia I would think has to be the odds on favorite to win it all. If not them, then probably IU. OSU needs to draw up some rollouts to get Sayin out of immediate pressure. Indiana sacked him five times. Michigan didn’t get near him but their defense isn’t as aggressive as IU’s or Georgia’s. The Buckeyes might get past A&M or Miami but I don’t see them going past that round
