has it been documented that he is "too soft" to play TE or not athletic enough, given the talented players in front of him? I have no idea if he's capable or not, but he's 6'5" and 275, and just a few cheeseburgers from pushing 300. I'm just thinking camp bodies, rather than losing OL talent w...
I wonder if Makaneole can do it. I'd much rather a 4th year guy that is never gonna see a minute on the line rather than an up and comer like Mubenga. He's also a grown man in his body by this point, and can at least serve spring camp reps to keep other guys fresh. Connor Gilbreath is another l...
I'd like to see Savion Jones bulk up just a bit and move inside to DT. Seems the kid has strength but lacks the twitch to play end, so maybe his future is there. Then, Shand and Womack can man the "large" DE position opposite of Edge. Of course if get 1-2 DTs via the Portal maybe he doesn't h...

re: Turnovers were the difference

It was a 4 point game with about 6:00 to go in the first half, then we turned it over on 3 straight possessions and Auburn just surged from there. The point guards were tentative at the point of attack, and I saw at least 4 soft lobs to the center past the top of the key get stolen by Auburn. ...
Great stuff! I saw an attacking DL and LB's that knew where they needed to be. And when the got to the tackle they were physical. Can wait to see that here....
More of an attacking 3-4 using our incoming 280 lbs. prospects in the rotation. I believe we will have 6 quality players at 280 or higher. Strength is DEs and LBs. Speed, attacking defense, not an immovable wall approach.
Agree. This is the answer, 3 down linemen. Guillory and Le...
Having said that, after watching the video of the pick 6 not a single person on the planet would convince me that he could catch that dude all the way from the other side of the field.
It doesn’t matter if he could catch. Since these kids start playing ball at age 5 they are taugh...
ANYBODY but Wisconsin. Boring, no value game. Why not Oklahoma, Ok St., Clemson? Anybody else would have been compelling. I think what will happen is many upperclassmen that are going pro will opt out and we can use as pre-spring for the next wave....
Who fricking pissed in these announcers corn flakes? These guys are salty and downright disrespectful. I don’t care how bad it is, your job is to call the game....

Kind of disappointed we didn't see more from Welch. I was hopeful he was going to be a dog in the mold of Flott or Jalen Mills. I think Zy and Toviano is a decent start. Really need Johnson, Stamps or Hughes to make a jump. Same for Safety. Would be nice if Kylin Jackson, Jordan Allen or ma...

Thanks for the info. This definitely seems like a fit with the Lindsey connection as well. I wonder what is happening with the development of Tygee Hill and Fitz West? I know these guys are behind upper classmen but they are also in the 22-23 class range so would be a bonus if they develop....

My word! Am I glad I wasn’t able to watch this live. 3rd down defense would have gotten me divorced....

He’s a good coach. Don’t let that record fool you. They lost their starting QB and went downhill a bit second half of season. Great defensive coach. With their talent they will be tough to score on. His key will be having a good OC....

I wonder if he’s fully recovered from the knee. Sometimes you lose some explosion from that injury, or it takes a while to return....

Last year our LBs were missing against FSU as well. Maybe we just need to give kudos to them for outcoaching us 2 years in a row....

re: Crews Signs With The Nationals

Jay Johnson gave a great interview during tonight’s game as part of the telecast. The announcers were going off about what a great coach he is. Dylan spent a full inning with the broadcasters, gave some really good answers. What keeps coming up is what a great kid he is. Very happy that he is ...

I can't wait until Perkins spies Travis for FSU and does the same damage he did to that Arky QB....
Nats fan here. I’m hoping Skenes falls to 2 because we need top flight pitching and have many outfield prospects at the moment. But, wouldn’t be sad to get Crews either....
