He’s called a great game against Bama two years in a row. I don’t think he gets the respect he deserves.

I thought it was guy named "Rick Dowdle" who is actually in the loop, but actually Chuck Dowdle 
Big ups to Chuck, I've grown up watching his 5 minute sports segment on the late news and all that.
Chaney did alright here, but is very replaceable. Let's just say no future, current, or past recruits will be jumping out the window because of his departure.

Yeah, UGA has to be a dumpster fire now. OC gets “demoted” and I’m sure nobody will want to come in and coach the lackluster talent on the UGA roster. I am terrified.

They're not even correct about Chaney being demoted. It's being reported that we made an offer, UGA countered with 1.5 million, and we raised it to 1.6 with escalators. We outbid them.

Those best teams are because of Smart, the running backs, and his defense in that order.
Enos was the 1st guy Smart wanted real badly, and Chaney was like a big turd in the wind just out there for the job once Enos was unavailable.
A top 5 program deserves better than Chaney, no offense to him, just sayin'.

The same Vol fan base that laughed when he was hired at Georgia and told us how terrible he was at Tennessee now act like he’s discovered the cure for cancer when they hire him back.

I agree 100%. The only really bad game I remember was LSU. It was bad. other than that, he's done a great job. I'm not sure why some people don't like him.

He’s had some bad games, but hes generally been solid.
A decent amount of our fan base hated Mike Bobo though who was a top 5 OC, so it’s hard to trust us.

Because when it’s bad, it’s 4 year old with a controller playing Madden bad.
Horrible repetitive play calling.
It will be an upgrade for UT though. And maybe he can help JG before he runs out of eligibility.

Don’cha think UGA, a top 5 program, could match or beat TN’s offer if Kirby really wanted to keep Chaney, a guy who was previously fired from UT?
Kirby will be very familiar with the offense he’ll be facing from UT.
