Different programs integrated at different times though.
Scholarship limits came into place in 1973 (the one good thing about Title IX).
Most experts agree that 1990 is the best starting point.

LSU fans will argue football didn't start until 2000
UT fans will think that we should stop looking after 1998

Personally, I draw the line at integration

Why cause all the krackers that created the game dont deserve credit for playing without facemasks? Such a self race hating cuck mindset.

If every college football fan was asked to rank every college football program based on history...how many would rank Arky ahead of Georgia? I would say zero non-piggy fans

Titles shouldn't even count until the true modern age of day 1970 to present.

Perhaps assign weights to era's

20% = Start of football to WWI - when the private schools dominated
40% = WWI to WWII - when the sport grew and spread
60 % = WWII to late 70's - When the state schools rose with the GI Bill and Boomers
80% = Late 70's to 1997 - When Supreme Court ruled and ESPN began
100% = 1998 to present - Start with Tennessee winning first BCS

Using the University of Michigan as an example
0.80 = .20 for 1901 + .20 for 1902 + .20 for 1903 + .20 for 1904
1.60 = .40 for 1918 + .40 for 1923 + .40 for 1932 + .40 for 1933
1.20 = .60 for 1947 + .60 for 1948
0.80 = .80 for 1997
0.00 = BCS Era

4.40 = Michigan MNC's

Using the University of Miami as an example
0.00 = Era I
0.00 = Era II
0.00 = Era III
3.20 = .80 for 1983 + .80 for 1987 + .80 for 1989 + .80 for 1991
1.00 = 1.00 for 2001

4.20 = Miami's MNC's

Looking at Princeton's claim of 28
4.6 = 23 x .2
1.6 = 4 x .4
0.6 = Their MNC in 1950

6.8 or roughly 7 instead of 28

Being called out by an Arkansas fan for a lack of championships is like being called fat by Michael Moore.

And no one has ever won a natty by winning the fricking Citrus Bowl......except Tech.

We own Tech and Arkansas......it ain’t even the same level......GT and Arkansas are barely a level above rent a win directional schools.

Hell, that's only 1 less than Georgia.

Arkansas is awesome

None of that changes the fact that Arkansas still doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath with UGA, football or otherwise.

That's because the ACC champion was required to play in the Citrus Bowl around that time.

Nothing like tieing a 6-4-1 UNC team and voted 2nd place by the AP to claim a mythical national championship season.

Then I guess you won't be claiming 1942 anymore since Ohio State got the AP. Can't have it both ways.

A MNC is a MNC. I can dig it.

I'm comfortable looking at 1942 with a 75-0 win over Florida, a rose bowl win, and a Heisman. Should I validate myself or my university with anything more than facts? Or does my dick get larger because of myths?

"Having lost most upper-class players to service in World War II, the 1942 Florida Gators brought an inexperienced 3–4 squad into Jacksonville for the 1942 contest with Georgia. The Bulldogs, on the other hand, still had many veteran players thanks to the draft deferments of the players who were enrolled in the University of Georgia's ROTC program, and brought a 7–0 record and No. 1 ranking to Jacksonville.

Meanwhile, the depleted Gators did not win another game during the 1942 season, and with even more players joining the war effort afterward, would not field a team at all in 1943."

fricking pussies.

?

Is that a complete sentence or thought? Do you care to explain the comment or was it too dumb to even express coherently?

Because they played in an inferior league.....that’s where champions from inferior leagues or 3-4 place teams in legitimate leagues play bowl games.
