Sounds like he’s been exploring his options quietly but it got blown up either by his choosing or without his knowledge. I don’t think he knows yet what he wants to do but now he’s going to have to make a much quicker, much more public decision

Well I know it is not a good look especially right now but most of us are just having some fun good natured ribbing at your expense . Whatever happens maybe it won’t be as nasty as it could be if the family pushes hard to be released

Justin needs to state publicly that he’s staying or move on with the transfer process. Kirby certainly needs to move on for the sake of the team sooner rather than later, either with or without Fields. It’s going to become a distraction.

If he stays you guys are going to have the infamous "quarterback controversy" going. I know you don't have good depth behind Fromm if he leaves, but other than that, at this point, your team may be better if he goes. This obviously isn't a Tua and Jalen situation.

Can't blame Georgia for taking the kid but it was obvious right off the bat that he or Fromm would have to go. Strange that either he or UF are not hot to go there. Mullen is a QB guy and would make a star of him. And you know AU is gonna take a swing at him.

Cant uga keep him from going to a school that they play. He isn't a grad transfer. And why go to AU with a lame duck QB who cant develop a QB. OU would be my choice unless he is trying to stay close to home

He's coming to State. Just kidding but I did hear that State was an option. I want to know what waiver is he requesting.

I doubt Kirby will allow him to transfer to an SEC school, much less one of our rivals. If he wants to go to one of those schools, he'll have to make a stop at JUCO on the way.

The lawyer representing his family is trying to strong arm UGA into an unconditional release by floating racism as their grounds for a petition to play immediately. He’s hoping UGA won’t want to get into a PR scuffle over racism and will cut bait

I have only watched a few of UGA games this year but had you not known about his 5* ranking you would never have gathered that from his play. Every snap he took in the SECCG was a pretty much a wasted down when you have Jake on the sideline. If you have to kiss their azz to get them to sign with you then expect to have to continue that practice to keep them.

I think for everyone’s sake, folks should hope UGA calls his bluff. It’s such a weak argument to make and REALLY waters down the already watered down criteria that constitutes a hardship. But from a PR standpoint, it may just make sense to cut bait and let him go. Don’t want Tom Mars going on a smear campaign of our program and school, which is very possible.
