UGA would prison rape OU, did them a favor. OU isnt beating a UGA team in year 2nif trying to build a d.

That is the issue. That we would essentially be gonig on the road to play an OOC game with no return trip.

So what? Do you have OOC teams come to GA each year that you never go to their stadium? Yes. And you would rather play another popcorn state instead of OU in 23? I hate they cancelled this game regardless some future return game. Once in conf we’ll get to go there and SEC coukd have made that happen in conf game.

Both schools got screwed this year because both had to find a fill in school on short notice and both games will be boring as hell.

Basically, it was to prevent one party whining about lost revenue when it comes time to put the schedule together.

Actually the game was to be in Norman this year so who’s the whiner now?

So how does that change what he said? One of the teams was going to complain about lost revenue. You Oklahoma people are as soft as Ohio State people. Sensitive bunch.

Fwiw, the complaining party would have been right whether it was Oklahoma or Georgia.

You sure will, but don't expect UGA to travel.

It matters because the Big12 would have gotten the revenue from the game this season as it would have been on Big 12 tv networks. And in 2031 they aren't returning the favor because Oklahoma is already in the SEC.

So what?

so what? If it's no biggie why doesn't OU regularly volunteer to go play another P5 school on their campus with no return trip? It'd be completley illogical to do so

yes. Teams like ULL, Austin Peay, Ball STate, etc. TEams that we would never be caught dead in their stadium to begin with. Ever notice how our games against Clemson, Oregon, etc. are either on campus or a neutral site? ya know..like normal?

well considering we had a couple months to fill a scheduling vacancy we didn't have many other options.

right...as a league game. I know you aren't so dense that this concept is above you. It's not difficult.

I can only guess you are joking. We outnumbered ND fans at South bend and outnumbered Oklahoma at the Rose Bowl.

Apparently you don't pay attention.

Yes, and they are compensated for doing so. Was UGA going to be financially compensated by OU for making that trip with no return trip?

Y'all could have just made this year a neutral site game and played it. Pussys

Probably already been discussed but why was that game cancelled and not the Alabama Texas game?

Because the Alabama/Texas series will be completed this year and does not impact future SEC scheduling.

This isn't difficult to understand.

Connie Utah, it's because the UT-Bama games were back to back and the series could be completed before expansion. The follow up UGA-OK game was years away.

Yeah that’s not really a big deal, sounds petty.

They should have moved the game to a neutral site

Because he's either being sarcastic, or he doesn't understand something that is quite obvious.
