a 40 game differential in the total wins column, that comes out to 2.67 undefeated seasons in the current 15 game season era. More than enough to make up for LSU’s lead in that column.
shite, I thought you were trolling. I'm sorry.

Win %
Bama .731
Tenn. .671
Aub. .628
LSU. .653
Ark. .579
Florida .630
Georgia .659
Ole Miss .547
MState. .508
Vandy .486
Mizzou .544
SCar. .509
A&M. .605
KY .501
Overall win % still has Tennessee second but a bunch of teams are around 63-66% win range.
Even Alabama’s win % translates to about 9-3 each year.
The other teams (Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida etc. are about 8-4 each year on average.
Now that begs the question of why coaches are getting fired for going 8-4 when that is the historical average winning percentage for those teams or actually better than their historical average.
Why?

Nobody gives a frick about what UF’s record against UT is since integration. Why are you interjecting into this conversation? 2009 was like 4,500 days ago.

At the beginning of the 2000 season UGA had 635 wins.
At the beginning of 2000 UT had 700 wins.
The difference was 65 games at the beginning of 2000.
UGA has gained 62 on UT since the beginning of 2000.

In game theory, it’s called the “Red Queen.”
Imagine an arms race, one country builds a nuke. It has an advantage. Then a rival country builds its own nuke. Now, the advantage goes back to zero.
Averaged out over a long enough timeline, there is no distinct advantage to either side.
Edit: Or as Bono once put it, everybody is “running to stand still.”

Its pretty significant. Thats four 10 wins seasons, or to put it in terms L2U fans are familiar with, about 8 seasons for you.

Georgia is a far superior program to Tennessee.

do titles won in a past century even count?
Posted on 1/12/22 at 9:54 pm to UndercoverBryologist
Tennessee has historically played a weaker schedule than Georgia or Auburn. Look at UT's head-to-head wins vs those 2 and get back to me.

We play in the West. That's worth 40+ wins over just the last 30 years.
Then there's titles and h2h if you're still unsure.

That’s even extra stupid for you Early. Fan support is one thing that has never been a problem at LSU.

What a goofy way to frame it.
Since the SEC was formed in 1933, over 89 seasons, UGA has a whopping like 16 more conference wins. They also have a losing record to LSU.
Finally, in their entire history, if you take out Alabama results for both teams, LSU has a better all-time winning percentage than UGA. LSU is basically punished for having the undisputed best team in the history of the conference on their schedule so often lately.

Oh really? Is that why the stadium empties at halftime?

To put it simply, that's about 1 more win every 3-4 seasons over the course of history. SO significant. Much more significant than half as many national titles.
