Not to mention Stetson Bennett.

You mean the walk on QB that we developed?

Ooooops! I forgot. A walk on QB starting the National Championship is nto developing a QB.

Look. I would be shocked if Caleb Williams came to Georgia/ Could he? yeah. It's possible. We have been in contact with him. But I don't think anybody who follows this closely believes he will choose Georgia.

No need to get all upset about somebody on a message board saying stuff.

The Williams family is on vacation in Auburn, Alabama. They must be going to Disney World and Sea World at Opelika.

IT will be with either USCw, Auburn, Georgia, or Ole Miss, or Aggie, just depending on who comes up with the most dollars......

Then at the end of next season it will be either Aggie, USCw, Georgia, Auburn, or Ole Miss just depending on who comes up with the most money at that time......

It is what it is.....

but if it's truly about development wouldn't staying with Jeff Lebby be a pretty decent option?

Why play for Lebby when you can play for Lebby’s daddy, Joey Freshwater

Lol it’s always about the money. I’m sure they want a place that will develop him too but cmon if say Uf offered what Texas supposedly gave that Ewers kid, the “best place to develop” is an afterthought. No clue where he ends up but bags upon bags will be dropped.

Kind of silly to throw in Richt recruits. I mean if we're gonna do that let us at least use Stafford. And Murray holds all the SEC career records, so I'll throw him in there too.

Lol! It's $1M% about the money! If you're a superstar you're going to get into the league wherever you go in college. This is all about the money.. I do not blame these kids for having these opportunities and pursuing them, but let's just be real. It's all about the money.

When you're a QB the caliber of Williams, being in a good situation can be way more valuable long term than a large check is today. But then theres some weighing of options that has to be done.... for example if he thinks Ole Miss is his best option and they offer 500k-750k, is somewhere like Georgia really that much worse of a situation to turn down an extra 250k-500k? Idk

Seems like y’all struck gold while failing those blue chip recruits

The blue chips are all freshmen and sophomores.

Your logic is like saying Ole Miss can't develop QBs because John Rhys-Plumlee, Grant Tisdale, Shea Patterson and, Luke Altmyer isn't starting. I get you have a former 5* starting for you.

But honestly? Which player needs more developing? A 5* or a walk on?
Has logic completely escaped the Ole Miss fan base?

Again. Most of us would be shocked if we took/got Williams. I would be shocked if we were even in his top 3. Auburn is probably ahead of us. How about y'all stop fixating on us and turn your attention to somebody else....or at least use a little logic in your arguments.

Saying a 5* needs more development than a walk on is dumb.

You asked about 5*
Vandagriff, Eason and Fields are the only 5* on your list. And Fromm passed both Fields and Eason...and Vandagriff is a true freshman.

quote:

Fromm but he got progressively worse
.

Seems odd since his stats actually increased from 2017 to 2018. Then they stayed pretty steady in 2019 when he lost all of his receivers, but yeah. Go ahead and show us more Ole Miss logic. I mean, we had 2 of the 5* leave after they were passed by Fromm (Eason and Fields) so if Fromm was starting how were we supposed to develop those two into starters?

Park left (I think) after his freshman year and never developed where he went, and Mathis left after his RsSophomore year. He had brain surgery and missed his greshman year, so I am guessing we should have gotten him out of the hospital and have him throwing and developing?

Brice Ramsey was in a triple option offense and was not a thrower....at all.

Again. If you guys don't know what you are talking about just say so. You are putting people on your list who have been here for a total of one year? (Fields,Park, Mathis(For all intents and purposes) and Vandagriff)
And I know you are going to say the next obvious...why did they all leave?
Fields, Eason and Mathis because they got passed by Fromm....another person on your list you claim was undeveloped.

Again. Which player needs more development? A 5* or a walk on?

quote:

A couple more.
I'll wait on their names.

An argument could be made a QB the caliber of Williams can turn a lot of places into good situations especially with the talent Uga has. Surprised dawg fans seem like they don’t have a chance of getting him.

I mean...a chance? Sure. I just don't think he will come here. I mean, the Ole Miss fans have a legit point. Like it or not we are not a QB oriented team right now. Our offense is not built to show case the QB, is what I mean. Ole Miss has Corral to point to.

Who knows? I'm just not sold that he would be interested in us. I think it is dumb for them to say Georgia cannot develop a QB....but that is a perception....whether it is true or not.

My position is if it really is all about money UGA doesn’t have as big a reason to drop 1 million + as the other schools “in the running” do. Our QB room has a lot of talent post Stetson era.
