1) UGA plays in the SEC, without a doubt the top conference across the NCAA, and the highest level competitively for those wishing to play at the next level

2) High school football in GA is among the best in the country. And unlike those ranked above us (Texas and Florida), we are the no-brainer choice of universities within our respective state. GA has much better talent than Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and South Carolina. Further evidence is that UGA finished last year with the #1 overall ranked class.

3) Athens is considered by experts the second best college town in the SEC, only behind Nashville. The great bars and college experience heightens the athletes' experience when they are not studying, practicing, or playing a game

4) For athletes that desire the big city vibe and nightlife, Athens is only a short 50 min drive to Atlanta, GA. Much closer than UF is to Jacksonville/Orlando. Closer than LSU is to New Orleans and Texas AM/Houston. Bama, Mississippi St., Arkansas, Tennessee are on proverbial islands in the middle of cornfields, cow pastures, and Smoky Mountains.

5) The GA football program has great history coming in at #11 in all time wins, ahead of all but two other SEC programs. Being Old Money makes it easier to obtain success and follow in the shoes of the many NFL greats. In the next decade, it is possible for UGA to overtake UT for #2 in the SEC all time. Also of note: UGA is the oldest state chartered university in the nation, so that history extends outside of just football

6) UGA ranks ahead (US news #54) of every SEC West school academically (Alabama at 103 lol). This means alumni are positioned for more career success and in turn higher salaries, fueling larger donations going towards facilities, and other football related needs.

7) We are coached by Kirby. Training under one of the best in Saban, he knows what winning looks like. And as an alumnus, and former Georgia football, he possess that extra drive and passion for the state of the program unlike few coaches before him.

Once our climb to the top is completed, the University of Georgia will be the the flagship university for football for in the Nation. Our intrinsic qualities give us an advantage over our competitors. This next century will be unlike any era in UGA football history, period.

I feel like you’ve never been anywhere near Tuscaloosa or Knoxville. Or Fayetteville for that matter.

You guys are worse than ND fans. Before the Orange Bowl those tards believed it was the 1940s all over again.

The only thing UGA has done is beat an overrated ND, last year.

STFU with these tard NDesque threads.
At least wait until you beat someone besides Vanderbilt.

One just needs to look at your username/location to see Alabama has invaded your fandom.

True. That's cotton and soybeans surrounding Tuscaloosa.
