Georgia fans, how do you like your chances if you meet Bama in ATL?

I think Georgia has what it takes to beat Bama. Bama would definitely be playing motivated, but Georgia would probably be more hungry. It may be one of the best SECCG of all time.

Georgia isn't going to Atlanta. Mac's gonna drag the Gators there again and then frick a shark in the middle of the field at half time while saban stands on the sideline and watches with a hungry look in his eye

Be hard to top 2012 SECCG. IFFFF we play them I think we have a punchers chance. We simply don’t have the depth across the board you guys have.

I think we're at about 25% right now. If we continue to improve and we're fully healthy by then (assuming we win the east), I think we'll be upwards of a coin toss.

Our defense is suited for QB's like Hurts. Bama's is suited to stop QB's like From. I think it will be a close, low scoring game. Comes down to which QB makes a play late

We'll likely lose and pretty much any UGA fan will tell you the same. It would take a monumental and nearly flawless game to win and I don't see that happening with a TFr QB.

A lot of season to go, but if UGA were to play Bama on Saturday, I would expect a good game. I think Bama is a better team, but UGA isn't overmatched athletically, at least not nearly to the extent that most teams in the country would be.

My concern would be the OL holding up. We're better than FSU there, but not where I'd like us to be to feel good about that matchup.

I feel like we are a 20% chance to win.

It will be close IMO but I think Bama being there before will provide the edge they need to win.

I'll just be happy to get there and compete. I feel like we're a good matchup with Bama though.

I'd say the line would probably be Bama -5.5, around there. I think that'd be fair. Neutral site game, Bama probably wins 8 out of 10 games, maybe 9. I don't think UGA has the depth across the board to compete with Bama, yet; I think we're getting there, though. I like Baker at corner, but Parrish is short and McGhee is still a little raw. I think we're about 2 years away from being a real threat to Bama, and that's if recruiting continues the way Kirby has started.

ETA: maybe closer to -6.5 Bama. Around a TD, there about.

Just a heads up..if going by historical point spread conversions

Alabama 5 point favorite = ~$40% chance of UGA winning
Alabama 7 point favorite = ~30% chance of UGA winning
Alabama 10 point favorite = ~25% chance of UGA Winning
Alabama 15 point favorite = ~15% chance of UGA winning

6.5 point favorite would give about 33% (1/3rd) chance.

I know they wont make the spread that high but as a UGA fan I really only expect we beat Bama 1/4 times and that is if we play well. Will be a good game though.

Georgia is pretty damn good. Kirby knows what to expect from Saban and probably vice versa. Can't wait but we both have a few more teams to obliterate first.

UGA is better than people on this board think. I have watched every UGA snap this season multiple times. We will obliterate Florida and beat Auburn by 10+. We are kinda built to stop teams like Alabama. I give us a 40% chance.

With ALL our starters back and healthy, the game is winnable.
