Why on earth would Auburn fans be angry?

Because bama won the NC? I will admit that it sucks greatly, but, unfortunately I've become almost numb to it with Saban there (as has the rest of the nation). It does help that we BEAT bama....something that UGA couldn't do which PREVENTED THEM FROM WINNING THEIR FIRST NC IN 38 YEARS.

Yes, it sucked that our two biggest rivals played for the title. That meant that one of our two biggest rivals was guaranteed to win the NC. Because of that, NOBODY from Auburn gave a frickin damn about playing UCF. Spin it how you want, but everyone here with a brain (that's where you may be excluded) knows that that is the truth.

So, therefore, the only way our postseason could have been worse would have been for uga to win the NC. Your fan base is already one of the most obnoxious ones in the SEC despite the fact that uga is the ONLY BIG SIX school to NOT WIN A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in almost FORTY (40) YEARS. Had uga won Monday, it would have been absolutely unbearable for EVERYONE else for at least a year or two. It was almost humanitarian that uga lost Monday night. The nightmarish way you LOST THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP was just a pleasant bonus.

To have both of our two biggest rivals win a NC in that last three years would have been bad for Auburn, especially considering how good Kirby recruits already.

Our football team will most likely be a preseason top 10-12 while our basketball team is currently leading the SEC (16-1, 4-0) and in the midst of the nation's longest winning streak at 14.

No anger here puppy, but I can guarantee that you are STILL HURTING SO, SO BAD from Monday night. AND just think...that hurt won't go away for a long, long, long time.

What has Georgia accomplished above and beyond Auburn? Lost a National Title on the last play of the game? Both have done that recently. Won it all? Wait only one has done that. It's a proven fact if UGA were in the West theyd have lost at least 2 games and not have even been in the discussion. Beat your chests for winning the SEC with a new coach early, Auburn has a coach that did it too, except it didn't take 2 seasons for ours to accomplish that, in the West in the middle of Bamas dynasty no less. We have beaten Bama a couple of times, with several ugly losses, but we have while Saban has been there, has UGA?

I think Clemson can count as an ATL / GA team given all the players out of GA on the teams.
