UGA is too cheap to spend money on anything but gymnastics and now football.

It’s almost impossible for UGA to be bad at baseball and basketball but somehow they pull it off.

When Georgia decides that baseball and basketball are important there is plenty of money available to create a very successful program. Right now most fans don’t care that much. Football is king at Georgia and the other sports are only off season diversions

As nice as it looks around Foley Field a capacity of 2800 is pretty bad especially in the SEC.

It's the excuse every fanbase uses when they aren't good at something.

Sorry. Georgia fans really aren’t that interested in baseball. If they hire a great coach and field a winning team interest will no doubt pick up but it will never come close to the interest that football generates.

If UGA is an elite, baseball coaching job. What is Akransas, Texas, Vanderbilt, Florida, and LSU?

Less attractive locations than Athens, Georgia.

None. Football is the sport that fills massive stadiums, gets huge tv contracts and pays the bills for all the other sports.

So UGA baseball is an elite coaching destination based on how attractive Athens is? Now I've heard it all.

I'm 64-years-old so...hardly a kid.
I don't "think" that Georgia made multiple trips to the CWS in the 2000s. It's a fact. Sorry that facts bother you.

Cobb County has more D1 prospects than any other area in the country.

It’s insane UGA is awful at baseball year in and year out.

Chicago arguably has the best level of talent with basketball and you don’t see DePaul and University of Illinois with great basketball programs.

Miami football has been pretty much an afterthought for many years now and they have some great players in metro Dade and Broward counties.

Sometimes geography is overrated when it comes to the level of success for a college program.

Georgia finished #2 in 2008. They were ranked #2 when the season ended in 2020. Georgia hasn't been awful "year in and year out."
Stricklin looked like a good hire when he came on board. Instead, he's been a disaster. His 10 years of underachieving doesn't erase Georgia's success in the past.
