A lot of your players were injured at various times. Not trying to say they weren't great during their individual times -- they definitely were and imo, they were as good or better than our backs during that stretch but I'm not sure that means they were productive. It's just a who's who list really representative of maybe a 4-5 year stretch.

13793 rushing yards if I got the stats right.

It really is a shame that Marshall got hurt again in the 3rd game. Then, Gurley misses half the year with the memorabilia stuff and then the ACL on his first game back. On top of that, Michel's injury kept him out about 5 games.
Situations like that are why you can never have too much talent at RB. That backfield should have been amazing, but by the 6th game it was down to just Chubb and Brendan Douglas.

all that talent, and UGA only got 1 conference championship out of it.

What could have been if Gurley stayed healthy!him and Chubb would have dominated the whole year

which is 1 more than 12 other teams in the conference were able to get in that period.

That is nice, what did all those great backs get you in 2014? A SEC title, A National Title? With out a great line and defense and coaching it really means little other than stats for some RB's.

Neal Anderson
Lorenzo Hampton
John L Williams
Early 80's and pretty strong

LOL, Brenden Douglas was not good. Marshall was a really good player in 2012 but by 2014 he was good, but not great.
Gurley/Chubb/Michel is elite, obviously.

Oklahoma State had Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders for 2 years. Both are in the college and pro FB HOF.

I would argue that Douglas was pretty damn good for a 5th string white RB

That's fine, but you are arguing him as a positive part of the greatest backfield ever. Lots of great backfields have had better 5th backs than Brenden Douglass.
