JJ Green was on that team also, I think. Ended up transferring to GT and did well.

Thomas and Sanders - End of story. Arguably two of the top 10 backs in the history of the NFL trump any backfield
Lost in the context of that is that Sanders wasn't a featured back when Thomas was there though. He had a single really good year as a junior. That 2014 UGA group with Gurley-Chubb-Marshall-Michele weren't ever all really good at the same time.
If you're looking at the ral best groups with multiple guys carrying significant shares of the load in the same season I think the nod goes to Arkansas (DMac and Felix) or Auburn (Jackson and Fullwood) or Alabama (Ingram/Richardson or Yeldon/Lacey/Drake).
I don't consider Chubb and Michel to be all timers. Chubb is a career stat compiler rather then an all timers, with Georgia arguable having half a dozen better RB the last twenty years or so. Michel is likely to be a better pro then college player as he is super talented but was more a complimentary RB then a featured one.

Gurley and Ingram were on a similar level in colleg
Hahahah Gurley ran for more yards than Ingram and it would have been a landslide had Gurley not been hurt. Gurley was way more talented

Exactly which position did Gurley play on defense?
Our '12 rushing defense was the worst in UGA history.Lacy was one of many that piled up rushing yards against that defense.

2001 Miami Hurricanes had Clinton Portis, Frank Gore and Willis Mcgahee. That’s three NFL pro bowl caliber RBs.
