his music catalog is one of the best all time, but his concerts are as bland as it gets..

It’d be great to see George Strait again.
I only hold a small grudge for splurging on great tickets for his “final tour” a long time ago.

If we get lucky, I might catch the last of the A&M game afterwards.
Wish granted.
Who else got to listen to the King of Country Music live and then Ags closeout game 1 in Omaha?

As awesome is that is, you are right the sound and the atmosphere to actually hear the music is worth the ticket at a small venue.
Went to the Houston Rodeo at Reliant this year and saw Hank Williams and the sound sucked balls. And that’s even closed.

Wife and I got some last minute tickets and went to the show.
He’s not a flashy concert but I really appreciate that hies on time and rock solid every single song. There’s something to be said for that.
His concert does leave you wishing he had played X song, but he’s the King for a reason and has an army of hits T his disposal.
Lucky to get home around 12:30 and catch the end of the baseball game.
As for the heat, it wasn’t that bad. We were blessed with a nice breeze.

It was a great night.
Parker McCollum opened, and brought the house down. The King was The King — he still puts on a great show and hasn’t missed a beat. Yes, he stands at the mic and sings. If you want flash, see Taylor Swift.
The sound was great, the beer was cold, there was a breeze after the sun set, and folks were great. Once the baseball game finally started, fans were sharing score updates. Well done, all around.
