No, he's always been a defensive coach.

Saban and Chizik have polar opposite defensive styles. This is not going to happen.

“I think it’s an interesting possibility, from what everyone says. There is mutual respect between the two people, and he does fit that mold of the former head coach — the Lane Kiffin model, the Bobby Williams model — the model that he has used so many times before — Kevin Steele — on his staff.”

It amazes me how people like Finebaum get paid to just spew horseshite like this. And people actually listen to it.

he quit NC to spend more time with his family. So you are telling me a year later he wants to coach again PF. Dumbasses like PF are making click bait crap. Alabama D coaches would probably walk if one of them was not promoted.

Didn't Chizik resign from UNC because he wanted to hang out with his family more?

This seems like Finebaum just throwing out chum again.

1.Chiz is making $$$ on sec network. Very low stress.
2. His youngest is a hs football player.
3. I think AU is still paying him.

Chizzin ain’t easy, but Gene is not going to work 130 hours a week for anyone including Saban.

All of those things plus............WE DON'T RUN THE SAME DEFENSE.

It's like expecting David Shaw to hire Mike Leach to run his offense.
