In UF's defense...tons of schools claim lower times and scores than they actually are capable of.
It isn't too uncommon.
Maybe Florida's 40 yards are shorter than official 40 yards.

The same way most players are listed @ 6'5 255. They get to the combine and they are 6'2 5/8 and 228.

It's the same as these recruiting services who convince some idiots that 16-18 year old kids are running sub 4.4's but on a real time, it would really be 4.6-4.7.

Not trying to defend UF here but the combine doesn't really lend itself to the lastest and greatest technology for this. All you have is a few dozen old arse guys holding a stopwatch. I am not surprised many 40 times aren't what they were timed at before.
