i think he's played quite possibly his best matches at RB the last 3 matches or so. still, he's definitely a CB or CDM long term.

it's pretty clear something that didn't go through in August. i think we thought we had another player lined up that fell through. unless his opinion of bellerin declined sharply in the interim of jenko leaving-debuchy being hurt.

i'm not sure AW ever saw Chambers as one thing. i think he saw him as a very skilled footballer who could competently play 3 positions and he loves versatile talent. i'm excited to see how he develops.
per looked a lot better with kos. think his form will improve with kos back.
well cesc pulled out of spain's match with a hammy problem. he and costa becoming fickle is the only way this shite could stay remotely interesting. their top XI is stacked. they'd probably be as bad as arsenal and manU if they had similar injury issues. they aren't deep.

we're pretty much assured of advancing despite our form. the fact that it's November and we still aren't a good team is most disconcerting to me.
thought he was very good in the first 60 minutes but faded.

I don't think our D can be fixed until kos is back. per can't handle the added responsibility.

bringing poldi on when you're trying to defend, hold onto the ball, and kill off a game was madness. also, taking off two of our paciest players when we're going to have the ability to counter was awful too. don't mind the rosicky sub, but maybe for santi or the clearly gassed Ramsey?
crowley's goal from this morning (willock with the assist):

my match report from that youth match should be up eventually...no one has edited it yet :/ we lost 2-1 :(
would kinda like gala to draw with dortmund at least. secures us moving on as well as puts us in the driver's seat wrt winning the group. unfortunately, dortmund have been as good in europe as they've been bad in germany.
for sentimental reasons, i want Henry to play for us the last half of the season. i also think he could contribute. he is unreal. can't physically start, but i'd take him over a hell of a lot of our bench attackers as an option off the bench if we're chasing a goal.
unfortunately, i gave up on my following of sevilla after watching one match or else i could give a scouting report
i think he could get a run out if we beat the shite out of them. he might be ready this week for a tight contest though. last week, i think it was more of a mental thing putting him on the bench. don't think he was ever going to play.
we didn't have ozil at that point. i think we all thought 1) cesc wanted to come back if he failed at barca and 2) we would fit him in somewhere no matter what. at least one of those is certainly true and they both might be.

also, his lady friend and baby live in london
the latest story seems to be that him going to chelsea was a done deal for awhile and that he wanted to go there. not sure if that's AW trying to save his arse, but guys like John Cross seem convinced that's what happened.
we played a 4231 yesterday, though with an out of form santi, alexis, ox, and welbeck as the attacking players, there was no one to really dictate our attacking play. wasn't really surprised we struggled with attacking fluency. the only real hope of a arteta-flamini axis is in big matches where we play more like napoli from a couple years ago with a front 4 of speedy attackers. against lesser teams where we will dominate possession, we really need ozil. would also help if sanchez passed the ball more quickly on counters.

also, when are we going to start lambasting ox? he's been largely awful this year. it was set up to be his breakout year but he's really struggled and is about to be pushed out of the XI by Walcott and Gnabry (maybe even Campbell) deserves some chances over him as well.
it's on fox sports 2 so foxsportsgo would work too for streaming.

don't know how much more development Bradley would do at 26. And I'm not sure playing once a month at Roma is better than playing every week at Toronto

that's the beginning of an athlete's prime years. regardless, in that instance, he's talking about the lack of match sharpness that comes with playing at lower levels of competition, which is about as uncontroversial statement in world sports as exists.
really doesn't have anything to do with this issue.
