I just feel sick about how this whole last year played out.

We'll miss him for sure.

it's probably for the best he stayed another year so the new coach didn't have to deal with the shitstorm the last few weeks.

Helped enable SJW mob and got his own school president fired.

He's a good coach. Sorry it had to end with a bunch of radical fricktards.

Pinkel made a great decision IMO. Focus on family, and he is finishing the season out(not a quitter), and he doesn't have to deal with the Mizzou mess.

I was waiting for this.

Now I'm waiting for the first Spurrier/Pinkel comparison thread.

There's an interview somewhere where they both talk about being at Kent State when the National Guard shootings happened as well. It was interesting stuff.

When Saban was at LSU, I remember him talking about how crazy it was when that happened and what it was like as a student athlete at Kent State at that time.

I would imagine Pinkel is probably thinking this blowup at Mizzou is child's play compared to things that were happening on campuses back then.

so why did he only play in 2 B12 CC games and of course lose them both?

could it be because he didn't win it 3 times?

I do not like Missouri...but I have always thought that Pinkel did more with less than pretty much any coach out there. I hate it that he is resigning...and really hate the reason why. He's won a lot...here's hoping that he wins this battle, too.

yep he gets to leave w/ sympathy, poor sick pinkel, and not have to deal with the mess he was a huge part in making.

really really sad.
