Meh, the schedules are comparable really. Notre Dame is obviously the best win of the entire bunch but outside of that UGA's schedule nothing special.

It's all silly to discuss since both teams will face their big tests now.

Auburn, the SEC championship game, the playoffs, the party is just getting started.

Are the two schedules that different than normal?

I’m thinking it’s not uncommon for teams to play three to four ranked teams a year. It actually is uncommon to get a victory over a team that is still able to achieve a top 5 ranking later in the season.

The biggest problem with UGA’s and Alabama’s Schedule is that a few of the teams that are usually just adequate enough to be considered a test are beyond awful this season. You couldn’t even discuss the Alabama vs Ole Miss/Arkansas/Tennessee games with a straight face when usually those games at least had a chance at being a test.

Actually it's a fair thing to say. I think at the end of the year it will look better.
Mizzou could win out, South carolina seems to be getting stronger, ND continues to win and Auburn is legit.

However there are a whole lot of teams that he could say this about.

You've been telling everybody that Georgia was going to get beat since the Notre dame game, so don't act like you are some wise person with special insights.

Well Gary is not wrong. The SEC East is garbage. UGAs only real competition was a one point win and a circus catch.

And you continue to ignore the other ranked teams we have played. Niiiice.

UT is completely lost after losing to UF. Kids are not playing for Butch so by the time UGA played them they had quit.

UT quit after their first loss to a 5 loss team? that's your story? UT was a hot mess from game #1, and if you had been around you would have seen everybody saying that. but if you admitted that, you would have to admit that GT got beat by a very bad team. But Virginia and Wake Forest has already shown that.

Miss State is a farce as usual. Auburn destroyed them as well.

They've lost two games. how many has GT lost? I guess GT is a farce, too?

quote:

Mizzou, Vandy, Samford and App State are all equally wretched.

And they will all end up with more wins than GT.

I will argue A&M is better than anything UGA has had to play.

So, in your mind A&M is better than the #3 team in the country?

GT will struggle to make a bowl game. You probably won't. It's probably a good thin y'all didn't reschedule UCF.

It is, and will still look more impressive at the end of the season. that does not mean we have a better team, though. Alabama has been there and has the experience, depth and talent edge. Until somebody can beat them, they should be considered the best team.

Hopefully we can change that perception this year.

Danielson hates UGA...he always has...this is nothing new. He deep throats the Gators and Alabama at every turn. I cannot stand the guy and wish he would have retired with Verne....Nessler makes him look like a fool every Saturday afternoon.

I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere, but LSU outgained Bama and missed key open throws downfield. UGA outgained USC by 200 yards and had several 9-10 play drives eating up over 38 minutes. Despite all of that USC played very well.

Because UGA is a better team than Bama. You guys eat up yards on long drives. Strong running game will do that.

And we've given up lots of yards to literally every team we've played. That's just how we roll.

The only real difference is that Notre Dame ended up being an awesome win and FSU not so much. The East might be the worst Power 5 division in football.
