"The only question I have about Alabama and Georgia is their schedule," Danielson said. "The SEC East is just a hot mess. If you look at Georgia's schedule closely, you got Notre Dame and who else?
"The same for Alabama."
"Alabama has been hit with injuries," Danielson explained. "LSU showed, up front, (Alabama) can be played with physically.
"It's a jump ball."

And I thought Verne was the one with Alzheimers.

He said LSU showed Bama can be played with physically. That’s not exactly praising Bama.

I have been telling people UGA is overrated. Bama not so much. I still think their D is great, but these injuries could play a role. UGA is fools gold.

UGA has AU and MSU cross division and ND non conference. That's #3 #10 and #16. They also play a 10th power 5 team in Georgia Tech.
Alabama played a power 5 team with a lot of hype in FSU who had plenty of other flaws exposed after losing their QB. FAU with Francois wouldn't have been much better than an average 8-3 team that's barely top 25.
Alabama had garbage cross division (though Carolina is the only decent team not named UGA)
Alabama plays only 9 power 5 teams. They play #10 #16 and #24 in division.
The schedule for UGA is clearly tougher top to bottom even if the East is completely garbage past South Carolina being a decent other receiving votes type team.

Who cares how tough the schedule is? There aren't enough good teams to go around. Of only good teams played each other, we wpuld have only 1 ot 2 games each Saturday.
Just beat the teams on your schedule and look good doing it.

Well Gary is not wrong. The SEC East is garbage. UGAs only real competition was a one point win and a circus catch.
UT is completely lost after losing to UF. Kids are not playing for Butch so by the time UGA played them they had quit.
UF is the same as UT except its rumored Mac was already being shuffled out PRIOR to the UGA game. They were a mess.
Miss State is a farce as usual. Auburn destroyed them as well.
Mizzou, Vandy, Samford and App State are all equally wretched.
USC is decent and has played them the closest.
Bama isnt much better. Very equal to UGA but I will argue A&M is better than anything UGA has had to play. So in my mind, Bama is a bit more tested because of A&M and LSU where UGA has only ND in that category.
Auburn is the most tested at this juncture by a long shot. Clemson on the road, A&M on the road and LSU on the road are tough. Granted Auburn lost 2 of those 3, they werent blown out. Clemson was early and Auburn has improved since that early game. Auburn has their chance this weekend though to prove that even more.
Credit to Bama and UGA for taking care of their business and doing what they are supposed to with such a weak schedule to date. Its about to tighten up a little.
Auburn has a chance to wreck everything and I am jealous of that because GT sucks this year.

I'll give them the Notre dame game for sure but he's right. Let's not act like it's been a murderers row.

Yeah but Georgia went on the road with a true freshmen at QB making his first ever start and beat the #3 ranked team.
Bama beat FSU who has been awful, but would be better if their starting QB didn't get hurt.
Point being Georgia hasn't played a super tough schedule, but it is tougher then Bama's

Who has bama beaten that's better than ND? Jebus. Outside of bama and aub, the sec west is a hot mess.

Auburn could very well have been the third great team before a big gap in this conference but Gus is a clown.

Thankfully the SEC Championship and the playoffs guarantees that the winner of the SEC still has the hardest road of any team in the country to win the National Title....PERIOD

If you had to guess, and I’m just saying spitball it, what’s the ratio of available dicks to suck in Alabama to the number of actual Alabama dicks sucked by Gary Danielson over the last decade?
I’d say it’s 1:1 easy.

You’ll sit there and argue that’s A&M is a better team than the #3 team in the country? Jesus fricking Christ.

A blow out over the No. 16 team in the country?

I'm not one to usually crap on my school but... You do realize that Miss State beat A&M's arse 35-14 in College Station don't you?
