The only thing reviewable was whether he was in or not. You can’t use the replay to call an illegal touching penalty that wasn’t called on the field. That’s not reviewable.

And that’s the answer. It was a catch.

"In #LSUvsBAMA, if a receiver is forced out of bounds due to contact by a defender, the receiver can re-establish position on the field and make a legal catch," the SEC Officiating Twitter account wrote in a series of tweets. "On the play in question, the ruling on the field was the receiver was forced out of bounds by contact. By rule, if there is contact between the defender and the receiver, whether or not a player was forced out of bounds is not reviewable. Replay confirmed the receiver re-established himself and completed the catch."

Yea but dont they know this one went against bama? I mean, the rules are different because its bama you big dummies.

Maybe Shaw can help Danielson get fired. We would be on board with that

Moss was forced out of bounds, and then came back in

No, you've had 5 people try to explain it to you 5 different ways because its obvious you cant wrap your head around the rules of a catch.

We're just trying to slow it down so you can catch up.

RolledTurd fans complaining about "questionable" ref calls AGAINST them is just so adorable!

I'll just leave these right here as a refresher for those oh-so-short and selective Gump memories...

We didn’t force moss out (obvious)

Apparently it wasn't obvious to the ref as in his mind he ruled Moss was pushed out...and that could not be reviewed. Therefore it was a catch.

1) There was a small shove that forced Moss out. 2) Reestablished in bounds. 3) Two feet in and controlled ball.

Even if 1 isn't accurate, there was no illegal touching by Moss because Diggs tipped the ball before Moss caught it. EITHER WAY ITS A CATCH, STTDB!!!!

Slow your roll. I need to savor this.

A Gump is complaining about a ref call. I’d pull up the 1,456,267 times they yelled at us for blaming the refs, but why bother?

What a sweet, ironic, and completely hypocritical melt.

can only imagine what y’all would have said if this was in reverse. The rant would have crashed.

If an a1abama receiver had been pushed out of bounds, came back in bounds with two feet, the LSU player tipped the ball, the a1abama receiver caught and maintained possession of it with video evidence of all of these aspects, we would have said “damn that was a great catch”

Look it’s obvious the Rec forgot to mail the check this year so the refs approached us before the game and we were glad to get the cash

The crew called it on the field that the LSU player was forced out by the left arm of the defender. Because of this the receiver does not need to re-establish himself on the field of play.

Gary and crew actually came back and admitted they did not know about the forced out ruling made on the play. That ruling is non reviewable and changed the dynamics of the play. It’s a pretty cut and dry tbh
