Thanks. They know it wasn’t a catch. I’ve asked them to explain why it was a catch and I’ve had 5 different versions of an answer lol

Burrow would have just completed the 2nd and 10 pass to Chase down the middle of the field for a likely TD on those garbage DBs.

Did Burrow have an incompletion at this point?

LSU scored 33 freaking points in the 1st half and LSU was up 20. Ensminger and Brady took a 15-minute cap nap in the 3rd quarter so they wouldn't be tired when they went out for drinks after the W.

Yup. If they would have called it incomplete, Burrow would have had 2 and 10 and continued to break it off in that Bama defense.

Not sure why they are complaining about this review. They weren’t stopping Joe.

The Bama defender clearly grabbed his jersey and also used Moss to leverage himself when he jumped to try and break up the pass.

And here is the SEC Offciating Twitter explanation:

"In #LSUvsBAMA, if a receiver is forced out of bounds due to contact by a defender, the receiver can re-establish position on the field and make a legal catch," the SEC Officiating Twitter account wrote in a series of tweets. "On the play in question, the ruling on the field was the receiver was forced out of bounds by contact. By rule, if there is contact between the defender and the receiver, whether or not a player was forced out of bounds is not reviewable. Replay confirmed the receiver re-established himself and completed the catch."

You act as if that catch were at the end of the game with 2 seconds left for the win. It wasn’t. It was only one of a slew of catches we had against you guys. Why make so much of this one?
