Didn’t read the whole thread but someone may have touched on this...

It was a FIRST DOWN play..not 3rd or 4th. Bama had no real answer for LSU’s offense. I’m guessing a TD was still inevitable..you were leaving guys wide open all game...or we just dump it off to CEH..since you couldn’t tackle him all game.

How is this lobotomy of a thread not yet anchored and the OP not permanently banned?

All I know is the Alabama fanbase is screwed when SAban leaves. In a game where they didn’t have the ball with a chance to take the lead at any point in the second half, and were down double digits more than they were down single digits, you guys are still crying about it.

I actually feel bad that you don’t know how to cope. This could be a big issue in your life that needs to be brought up in therapy.

I don't care if it was a correct call or not. I remember Alabama coming to Starkville in 2017 and having their hands full until the referees let a game-changing play stand where Calvin Ridley caught a long TD pass despite having gone out of bounds before catching the ball. It was one of the most egregiously bad calls I've ever seen, it had a direct impact on the outcome of the game, and it perpetuated every accusation of bias that SEC fans have been crying about involving Alabama for years.

So yeah, I actually hope he was out of bounds. I hope the referees blew it. My only regret is that it wasn't the reason they lost the game. Alabama deserves about a decade's worth of shite like this going against them in big games.

You want to make a case that it was a catch? Go right ahead. I’ll wait. lol

All I had to do was watch it. They had great angles showing how it was definitely a catch. Maybe you should melt over something else.

Dude, it's been three days. Stop melting. Have enough emotional intelligence to recognize you are embarrassing yourself with this argument.

A hundred years from now, yea a thousand, it will be a catch, and forever be inscribed in stone in the book of scores—LSU 46, Alabama 41.

I don't think anyone is saying it wasn't a catch. We are saying it wasn't a legal catch.

He stepped out of bounds, did not establish himself, then caught the ball in bounds, great catch btw.

I mean did it change the game, probably not, bad calls happen in every game. But it was not a legal catch. Just admit it and let's move on!

Even GA fans admit that Cager didn't catch the ball against FL, but hey they will take it, it was a gift. You guys got a gift, enjoy!

I’ll admit it if you admit Bama was offsides about 5 or 6 times that weren’t called.. I’ve rewatched the 40 minute condensed replay several times...it was ridiculous the amount of times Bama jumped offsides.

Well if Gary Danielson is so knowledgeable on rules on whether a receiver was pushed out of bounds and re-established himself, then why does CBS pay Gene Steratore as their rules analyst?

really made Shaw look bad in the media viewing area
Good. Maybe the SEC will tell CBS they can either get rid of Gary Danielson or kick rocks come 2023 when the current TV contract is up. You know ESPN and Fox would both love to get their hands on the SEC game of the week

Ok, sure. There were times we looked offsides. There were a lot of no calls in that game. Face mask on Waddle for example.
I thought it was strange that there were hardy any holding calls on either OL. You and I both know that both our lines were holding and I really can't remember 1 call.

So Saban would have accepted the face mask and given up the TD?

I saw CEH have his face mask grabbed without a call ...and Burrow also. Go watch the 40 min condensed replay.

I agree ..we got away with some holding. But I’ll say one thing...your center #69 should be suspended for awhile after that bush league hit from behind...could have crippled him.
