Honestly I think Nebraska ought to go back

I get where he is coming from even though it's just wishful thinking.
I'd love for the old SWC and Big 8 to be viable conferences. Sadly, that ship has long since sailed.

No one from a Power 5 conference wants to go to the Big 12, Texas ruined the whole conference

shite in one hand and wish in the other one and see which one fills up first.

Why would someone purposefully shite in their hand?

If the Big12 was progressive, which it certainly wasn't, things could've been a whole lot different if Texas, Texas A&M, OU and Nebraska had come to Arkansas and LSU with a Big12 network and loads of cash and massive tv deals in huge markets.
It would be very hard to debate OU-LSU, OU-Arkansas, Texas-A&M-Texas, OU-Nebraska, LSU-Nebraska, Texas-Arkansas, LSU-Texas A&M, LSU-Arkansas, the combinations are endless of must see games in huge markets. Hell, throw in Memphis as the cupcake of the Southwest with this $1 Billion FedEx potential and things would've been a whole lot different.
It would certainly could have surpassed the SEC but we will never know. Money talks now just as Texas A&M left all rivalries behind to keep two in tact with Arkansas and LSU by joining the SEC. None of that happened, and today, I highly doubt anyone is leaving the SEC because the B12 is playing catching up instead of blazing new trails.
However, with enough money and power relationships things do change but the changes are still slim.

Hell yeah. Give Arkansas and Texas A&M to the Big 12. Give Mizzou to the Big 10. Take either FSU or Clemson and call it a day.

They should go back. They lost recruiting area's by going to the Big 10. I think they have realized they went from a national power to a mid level Big 10 team.
The big 12 would probably have to get a Big 12 network to get schools to switch conferences.

Makes perfect sense to me. Hope it happens.

that has very little do do with their recruiting grounds and far more to do with no longer being allowed to skirt the rules w/shady local scholarships for "walk ons", a Russian style steroids program, and starting thugs they picked up out of county.

I'm not sure why OSU/Arky isn't a semi-regular game. Seems like Arkansas would feast on Tulsa talent.

no one/entity/etc would 'give' us to anyone. we'd go on our own accord. in fact, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest to get away from the sec if it wasn't for the $$$. i certainly don't nor will ever take any pride or feel nostalgic about the sec.

Arkansas fans secretly hoping it happens so they can have a chance at winning something.

Wait, Arkansas is not in the Big 12 already.
Strange.

Texas is a cancer. They think they are bigger than the game.

I may be in the minority here but I think Arkansas belongs with the SEC. Hell, they're a Southern state to boot...everything about them fits with us, not them.

Oklahoma State and Arkansas used to play a lot way back in the day. I can't remember any series between the two, but the campuses are 3 hours apart and there are a lot of Cowpoke fans in NWA. Tulsa news covers Razorback sports, too.
