Fitzgerald was a 2 star QB. Stars mean jack shite it's all about getting the guy that fits your system

Evaluation is more important than stars. Secondly, how a player fits your system. Thirdly, MSU has found freaking 2 star players in rural Mississippi that got overlooked and you Ole Miss fans have found rural players in the state as well.
Prescott only had an OL one year at Msu and he was a 2 star recruited by only 1 other Power 5 program (Lsu) who offered very late as a possible TE I believe. Joe Moorhead has won everywhere he's been knowing offense. Until proven wrong, I'll take his recruits.

State recruits dual threat QBs. He's the 10th rated Dual Threat QB.
All things considered that's a good pick up for state.
Limited on the type of QB you can recruit, #10 is a good pickup for a first year coach here

Historically speaking, MSU never did well recruiting QB's. Our offense was always one dementional running the ball with just enough passing to keep a defense half honest. It's the same reason we rarely landed good receivers. Mullen helped change that and now Moorhead is another offensive mind.(probably better).
Long way until signing day but I suspect Msu will land a good class with offensive players.

If we can keep a constant supply of top 10 dual quartebacks on campus, espically with Moorhead's offensive track record, I think we will be ok

That but need to recruit receivers, too. I truly believe we are going to land some good receivers this class. It's an offense that WR want to play in.

I didn't say he sucked or that Ole Miss didn't want him. I just find it funny that every player that commits to MSU gets starts stolen. So either Steve is feeding you that shite or your program is just that level of dogshit and you won't admit it.

Have you never seen a 3 or 4 star start getting looked at by Bama or another top program and then magically become a 4 or 5 star?
Because I have

I'll reiterate what I put on the recruiting page. The current QB making SEC fans cream their jeans is Tua. SC QB coach Dan Werner was the first to offer Tua when he was at OM, four months before he'd get his next offer. Garrett Shrader was Werner's #1 guy on the board for this cycle, in front of current 4* and Elite 11 finalist Ryan Hilinski who's announcing today.
You're getting hate ITT for several reasons:
1) its tRant, people are gonna shite on you
2) you're State, people are going to shite on you
3) he's presently a 3*, regardless of upside potential, you're getting shite on.
4) this isn't the recruiting board so all of the aforementioned shitting should be expected.

I wish there was a board for recruiting on here.

Mississippi is loaded in talent. Moorhead is doing it right locally and nationally. Stars and professional prospects are the same.
