Didn't hit the head or neck. Didn't use his helmet. How is that electable?
Frustrating rule.

I meant clean as in lead with the shoulder.

I have to disagree. Id always rather do it the right way. Especially at the college level. NFL? maybe. those guys are getting paid to entertain. Not in college though. there needs to be sportsmanship still at that level.

Doesn't have to be a hit to the head.
Contact must be with the neck/head area, unless the announcers are full of crap.

Gotta tell you guys, this game and the Ole Miss/Vandy game have been entertaining to say the least.

I remember Jordan Jefferson getting speared in the chest while defenseless with the ref looking straight at him. No flag.

Was the player hit, what they consider defenseless? I was looking at another game and didn't see the play. Again, it doesn't necessarily have to be a hit above the shoulders.

it was reviewed by the SEC and the NCAA afterwards and they both cleared it as a legal hit. He was a defender and was, by rule, open to have his dick knocked in the dirt on that play. I would have preferred the hit to maybe be not QUITE as vicious maybe, but there was nothing wrong with the play.

1. No player shall target and initiate contact vs. opponent with the crown [top] of his helmet.
2. No player shall target and initiate contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent.
He did use the top of his helmet. I get it now.

That hit was helmet to helmet on Murray 10 yards away form the play to his blind side.
That was 10x the targeting.

Come on, Kaptin, every good football team has its thugs (including Bama). Not saying nice guys can't ever win, but they usually don't play with the same chip on their shoulder.
A&M has had plenty of teams made up of nice guys. And you don't know shite about them, do you?
