No shite, that was probably the dumbest thing I have ever read on this board; "Rebounding is over-rated".
Jesus Christ.

They made it up for TV, really its just showing up at a street ball court in Fayetteville and Mike rolling the ball out there.

A team who couldn't beat UMASS and struggled with Northwestern St?

Is it the same team that leads in losses to UMass?

It is.

Rebound Margin is actually a legitimate statistic on a game to game basis.

Why is that so hard for you guys to understand?

I even provided the formula for the Cal game, but could easily do the same for the SMU game where Arkansas was actually out rebounded but possessed a 20 point lead for the majority of the game...

There are always outliers. But something that raises mathematical probabilities in your favor is never an "over-rated" stat.

LSU was up 15-20 the majority of the 2nd half against NWST. Did you watch the game?

So a poor shooting team that plays other poor shooting teams accumulates 50 rebounds a game is better than a good shooting team playing other good shooting teams but is only able to accumulate 34 rebounds a game?

The better rebounding team is the better team, right? Not in this example in most cases...

Mathematically they have a better chance when shooting poorly to win the game by out-rebounding. It's not a hard concept to grasp.

Different in this game 10/12 vs 5/9 not the rebound margin...

That is rebound margin and is a game to game basis.

I'm talking about the statistical category of Rebounds which is calculated the total rebounds every game.

Rebound margin matters, rebound statistical category does not.
