Meh. It was yalls Ace against our injured pitcher who was already supposed to be moving to the bullpen to make way for our new ace that sat out this weekend. It’s sad that this is such an unexpected win for y’all

Lol SOG. I am confident we get the win with Walker tomorrow. What I am worried about is which Marceaux we will get Sunday. I could easily see us losing 2/3 at this point

LOL, he's our "older" guy who would be a mid week starter at most other SEC schools. That was an embarrassing offensive effort from LSU.
But we said it in an earlier thread, our guys aren't super talented but if you don't show up they'll whip your arse. They play their guts out. I love watching them play, even knowing they're gonna get hammered most nights against good teams.

It was a great start by Finnerty, but like our overall team he's been good against middling and good teams and not good enough against elite teams.
Hopefully we turn a corner and finish strong, but so far we are incredible against lower level SEC teams (South Carolina) and everyone OOC, but not good enough against elite SEC teams.

LSU baseball is the Kentucky basketball and Alabama football of the SEC. I know this.
Alabama and Kentucky have championships this decade. LSU doesn't.
