Weren't many Tech fans in Jacksonville for our bowl game either, ones that were there went home happy though. I don't think they have a very large fan base.

Every fanbase has their fringe vocal minority. Don't allow yourself to get trolled as easily. 99% of us were happy to get out of what felt like a perpetual state of 5-7's that we meandered through a few years back.

Congrats on taking over a fan base who can't fill a 50,000 seat stadium and offer free concessions with tickets for home games.

Have you not seen what we do to their stadium every other November? It's always 75% UGA fans. The majority of Tech fans/alumns either don't live in ATL or don't give a frick about football.

Also what did the OP expect? GT fans arent hitting restaurants and hotels like Vols are. From where I am at the Gulch there are a ton more GT fans tailgating here rather than milling around on a once a lifetime trip for the Vols faithful to the big city.
