I haven't read about any inordinate about of injuries from GA.

Because their media folk lie to their subscribers and say it’s nothing. Just like they covered up Cochran and lied about Gilbert. They hired Baghdad Bob to cover them.

Gonna be hard to beat Clemson at 80% strength, that's for sure, but the rest of September is pretty favorable to allow us to get healthy.

Ah..the excuses are already being implemented. Uga is an Elite SEC team and Clemson is a lowly ACC team. Hell, UGA should be able to beat us with their 2nd string if you believe the SEC SEC Propaganda.

It is troubling, but we can only hope for the best. This game vs. Clemson was already expected to be a tough one, considering the rivalry alone. But, it's gotten much tougher, now.

These injuries can linger and manifest again down the road. Again, they have depth and should recover nicely.

What’s the word on him lately?

Think he can make it back in time for the postseason, at least?

word is that he is progressing very well. He has enough film to get drafted in the top 2 rounds. Sounds like it's going to be up to him if he wants to return closer to the end of the season or not

I would say it's more the staff, not the media. Kirby is trying to keep things tight.

Most coaches keep things tight but most writers don’t die on the hill of coach speak. How long was Cochran actually gone before it was rumored then denied then substantiated? And Gilbert? How many stories of sunshine and all being well before the story was printed of him being off the team?

We get a rumor, multiple denials then the truth.

UGA has had at least 2-4 major players every season be injured in their practices since Kirby got there. It’s got to suck to be a fan of that team every year facing that kind of disappointment.

I’ve seen some pretty idiotic posts by Floriduh fans, but you just topped them all. You’re attributing injuries to Kirby? You obviously don’t know much about football, but it’s a rough sport. Players get hurt all the time in every program. Was Jaydon Hill’s ACL injury Mullen’s fault?

Looks like the injury bug left Alabama and followed Cochran to Georgia.

Nope, just stating facts. Didn’t attribute anything to Kirby in that statement. Maybe you took it that way bc you’re so disenchanted with what’s going on with your team. Idk. It’s just an objective fact that UGA has injuries to key players from practice every single season since Kirby has been there. Zamir White, George Pickens, Lawrence Cager, and many more. Now you guys have your starting tight end and a starting defensive back out for a huge game to start the year.

I've heard injuries are up 25% at the rehab place he's visiting as well.
