Same could be said for Smith for the LSU game.

ITT: LSU fans can’t stand being completely forgotten about.

5-5 will do that to ya.

Enjoy.

He’s a 5* WR. Didn’t aTm have one? Yeah, how’d Demas do?

Smith wasn’t doing anything like that his freshman year

No, just flatfooting half the UGA secondary and hauling in the most epic walkoff catch in college football championship history.

Bama fans LOVE stats until they favor someone else.

Would you prefer 30 yards or an additional TD?

Nothing to do with that. Just stats about how good Boutte is. Out playing the Heisman, Greatest WR at Bama all time For several games is no small accomplishment.

This may be the biggest reach / moral victory I have ever seen.

He is a great player.

Since we are putting players into the Hall of Fame based on best ever one game performances let's not forget KJ Costello. 623 yards passing against some team I can't remember.

Also, isn't this the same guy that Deshaun Jackson'd the ball in the Bama game?

Sure, but comparing production on the season to a moment are completely different worlds.

Smith had 8 catches his entire freshman year

We don't know what Smith's freshman numbers would have looked like if every other decent pass catcher on 2017 Alabama would have quit the team.

Well at least Boutte doesn’t have to live with the fact that he had to go to another school in a different state to be successful.

Yeah, I'm sure that was gnawing at Smith while he was annihilating LSU's secondary.

I've never realized the depths of insecurity the LSU fanbase had until seeing all of these threads comparing every minutia of their garbage season against Alabama. It's amazing and sad all at once.

Congrats on having only one decent WR to throw to against Ole Miss I guess.

For shizzle! My 95yo grandmother could've gone for 350 against them.

Not sure how to predict his stats going forward.

Does Ed O's shitty Offensive Line recruiting mean LSU can't run the ball so their QB is forced to chuck it 50 times a game and Boutte feasts?

Or does his shitty OL recruiting get the QB killed and Boutte gets nothing but bubble screens behind the line of scrimmage?
