Uh, I know. I have said over and over in this thread he got fired for going rogue. That was my point. Not getting approved was part of the going rogue.
I don't know what, if any, role Fulmer played, because there seems to be nothing in the public record as far as text messages involving him. But apparently many Vol fans believe that he was involved behind the scenes.

If you read that it says Fulmer was trying to sabotage Currie to become AD. Thats not our argument. Our argument was Fulmer nixed the Leach deal. He couldn't have nixed the Leach deal if he wasn't AD yet. Fulmer had no power.
Also, there was lots of speculation in that article. It really doesn't hold up.

Other than UT fans nobody likes rats like Fulmer. Same applies to former players at various schools who happily took benefits then turned on their school when eligibility was up. Examples being Eric Ramsey of AU & Laremy Tunsil of OM. Those snakes should never be welcomed back to their alma mater.

Where did I blame Fulmer ‘for all our trouble?’ I just pointed out the hypocrisy of Fulmer ratting Bama out to the NCAA and receiving a get out of jail free card for his trouble.
I also posted in a thread last week that Bama’s boosters would cause us problems when Stallings resigned, so I’m nothing if not consistent.
