They won't be added because they don't bring any additional value.

If we're doing mega conferences, they should be in.

SEC should add FSU, Miami, Clemson, Ga Tech, Ok St and toss Vandy down to FCS.

Keeps rivalries intact and doesn't have the conference footprint coast to coast which is ridiculous.

And added zero extra dollars in TV money to the conference.

Well the SEC could've kicked out a&m for Texas in order to generate more money, but they already felt bad enough about going behind your backs entirely to add the school that has overshadowed you since the beginning of time

NEVER been any kind of agreement to keep any team from any state out of the SEC. If every SEC team could get more revenue from adding other teams, the SEC would do that. Right now, SEC media partners ABC/ESPN will not add to the already agreed to contract.

Add them or let the Big Ten get them.

Clemson, FSU, Miami and ND or about the only top programs not in the Big Ten of SEC.

The SEC cannot allow all four to join the Big Ten.

They would bring more money than OU and Utrans

SEC got fricked and not one penny per school more

Xwing, you have a daily melt about A&M.

It's amazing how preoccupied you are with our school. You basically work for us full time.

That's a fair point, but it is worth noting that Texas has 9 times the land area of South Carolina and nearly six times the population.

I personally was not a big fan of adding Texas and Oklahoma.

Money trumps a 'gentleman's agreement'.
We'll see how it plays out in the end.

Imagine a world where we'd have added FSU and Clemson instead of Texas and OU.

We almost had it all...

It really depends on how big conferences are going to get. If they get much bigger and they get a new tv deal; there’s no reason not to. Across country bs is already out of control so would be nice from a regional perspective, at the very least.
