Clemson is one of the top engineering and science colleges in the country.
You bet your arse they are! Tied with the New Jersey Institute of Technology at #77 for best engineering schools in USNews's rankings. I only had to go to page 3 to find'em.

Clemson is in the top 40 in the country in engineering degrees awarded.
The outfit that prepares the licensing exams was located in Clemson for 60 years or so until moving to Greenville to be close to the airport. Clemson professors probably had the most input in creating the exams.
US News is liberal arts people doing click bait rankings for wine moms. They don't make job offers to engineers.
There's nothing wrong with the polytechnic college in NJ. I'm sure a football sidewalk fan has never heard of them but you aren't hiring engineers.

I like having FSU and Clemson infinitely better than UT, A&M, OU, and Missouri.

This ain’t true
Overwhelming majority of us want SEC, however, if y’all don’t want us then B1G > ACC

I don't think the SEC is expanding again in the next 20 years.
I don't think the SEC will make a move unless the teams added will result in the existing teams making more money.
I think the only team who could cause that to happen is ND, and if they join a conference it will likely not be the SEC.

But at some point, expanding beyond profitability could hurt you or lead to contraction if that is an option.
I think (probably wrong but still) that the people running the SEC and Big will continue to expand until they can mutually break away from the NCAA and start a new college athletic organization.
Then the mega-conferences will split into more traditional conferences under a new brand and under new rules.

NO. All football fans in Carolina watch the Gamecocks to either see them win or see them lose. You gain Zero extra eyeballs by add ClemTech. Similar scenario for scenario for FSU?

They say the next round is all about matchups. If so, FSU to the SEC is the biggest move left on the table.
FSU vs Florida as a conference game.
FSU vs Bama
FSU vs Georgia
FSU vs LSU
FSU vs Oklahoma
Are 5 games that would all finish as top 20 most watched games at the end of the season as far as ratings.
No other add moves the needle like this.

Georgia Tech may get a Big Ten invite.
Louisville and NC State should go to the Big 12.
Tulane to Big 12.

Yeah we will end up regretting this when they go to the big and make that conference legitimate all the while we are snobby to them I really think if we don't we will regret this

Do you really think FSU vs OU moves the needle? Yawn.

First , the Big10 doesn’t want them.. what you hear is they want to go there. That ain’t happening, neither fits with the Big10 presidents’ idea of a Big10 school.
If the Big10 cones south, look at GaTech and Miami. AAU members, superior Academics, and large TV Markets, and huge research schools.
Endowments-
GA Tech- 2.5 B
Miami- 1.5 B
Clemson- 1 B
FSU- 850 M
Big10 Wish list-
Notre Dame; they would take Stanford if the could get Notre Dame.. then probably Washington and Oregon
If ND passes
They look south….
Miami, Ga Tech, UNC, Virginia
I could see Duke to the Big12 ; with the basketball angle.
I can see Clemson and FSU in the SEC; even though I don’t care if they come., adds nothing. Would prefer VaTech and NC State ( they fit better culturally, than UNC )
