Dude got lubed up (alcohol), amped up (victory), egged on (group-think), and made a dumb decision that will follow him for the rest of his life.
This is precisely why I avoid these situations. Many people can get caught up in the frenzy and do stupid stuff. This is major league stupid (and not something just anyone will do) but it is not the worst thing that anyone has ever done in similar circumstances.
He did the "crime" so he subjected himself to the possibility of an awful sentence. So it is and I neither celebrate it or lament it.
But, the dude will serve some portion of his time and then get on with his life. He is neither a hero nor the worst.
Please, take note. Sometimes, the feeling of being in the moment (with a bit of alcohol flowing) can cause you to do things you'll regret. Don't do those things and there will not be a 20 page thread about you.

I just can't imagine being married to a 33 year old man who teabagged someone at Krystal.

paraphrased defense presented to the judge:

"was that wrong? should I not have done that? i tell you i gotta plead ignorance on this thing - because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing was frowned upon... because I've worked in a lot of offices and people do that all the time."

His wife has gotta be sick.
Read the ESPN article on it. He was in the car with his wife and kid about a week after the game, driving to Kroger or some shite, and one of his friends called him and said "Dude, you're on YouTube."
He told her then what happened.

No doubt. There's young and dumb, then there's just plain dumb. I understand the appeal to getting soused in your early 20's, but at some point, it's just not an option and maturity has to take over.

This guy is not the brightest crayon in the box.

Because he did it to a passed out individual who could not consent, the law says 25 years in jail.
He's lucky to only get 2.

Yeah, the video looked like a bunch of junior high kids trying to look cool and one up each other. Sad and pathetic excuses for adults. To get drunk and do something stupid is one thing. Any dude that thinks it a good idea to put his balls on another dude is a stupid piece of shite that should be cleared from the gene pool.

Actually, the law says he could get 10 years, but whatever.
The internet has made idiocy like tea-bagging seem common place. Well I'm here to tell you good people of the SEC Rant that not many men actually drag their nuts across other men's faces no matter what they say on a message board...except PrankReb. He really does enjoy giving and getting teabagged.

It was 25 according to the state laws unless something changed.
It was because there was no consent as the guy was passed out
