Ole Miss should've chose the option that gave them the best chance of winning the title.

They chose...poorly.

I get it. We held on to what was left of the 26 class.

It’s hard to say. A committed Lane, most definitely. A both-feet-out-the-door Lane would probably have been a net-negative. We’ll see how it plays out.

I got news for you: LSU gave Kiffin one of the biggest war chests in CFB. He was going to recruit players and coaches from Ole Miss whether he coached in the playoffs or not. That’s what coaches do when they advance: they try and bring the best personnel along.

Ole Miss said no to Kiffin, but then realized how fricked they were and begged LSU to let them have CWJ for the playoffs.

This whole thing doesn’t make Kiffin look bad; it makes Ole Miss look ridiculous and the incessant posts by Ole Miss fans here trying to litigate it prove me right.

No one with any sense let's a coach who went to an arch rival finish out the playoffs. It's not that complicated

games like flying families. There were rumors like Lebby saying he really ran the program (which I thought was sour grapes) and the “break up” prior to the UK game (which I though was Dart breaking up with his Utah GF not Kiffin and Sally). Then when he lied about certain things everything came out (ultimatums, not attending any meetings prior to the Egg Bowl, words exchanged between Golding and Kiffin, players confronting him, getting run off the road with a police escort etc…..). The icing on the cake are the Lanestien files. Y’all better find a new Tyler for him and get some preprinted NDAs for his pickleball & yoga conquests! He is your problem now and I wonder if Baton Rouge will be able to keep thing under wraps like Oxford.

Oh FFS, even if all this bullshite was true, if the man decided at the 11th hour to stay at Ole Miss, not only would y’all have accepted him with open arms and parades, but all the OM posters here would have rubbed LSU and UF fans faces in it for eternity.

Please spare us all your delusions and bitterness. Enjoy Golding; I’m sure he’ll be great for y’all.

Everything this guy said is true.

1. Ole Miss has two rivals. State and Vanderbilt.

2. Ole miss is the 11th best program in the SEC. LSU is 3 historically.

3. Ole Miss will NEVER win a national championship in football. They don’t have the balls it takes.

1) OM is not LSU’s biggest rival

2) Correct, it’s not a “neutral move up”. It’s a Tier 1 upgrade going to LSU

3) OM IS NOT AND WILL NOT EVER WIN A NC in football. They are not NC caliber team nor program.

Sure, sure. The rest of the world thinks it makes Kiffin look like he has always looked, trashy and slimmy, but they are wrong

The fan base of the school who hires him sees it from the correct perspective

Did anyone really need On3 Insider to explain it to them?

It is really self-explanatory.

Bro, you keep saying "slimmy" in various threads and that isn't even a word.
