I mean the fall has been spectacular and something to behold. I've never seen anything quite like it.

Yet 5* players from the state are pressured to stay and play in that dumpster fire

Glad to see they’re also protesting football season.

2-8.

It's amazing how far they've fallen without their genius passing game coordinator or whatever his title was. Also, Pelini has been a massive bust

who was the guy last year that after the season posted here with pics of all the good players they still had after the draft? Had some long explanation about how they were still going to be good.

It's a comprehensive collapse. Not a matter of a coordinator or a divorce or attrition or scheme or Covid. It's a combination of everything and it's TOTAL. After 20 years of consistency it feels very weird but against the backdrop of 2020 not significant enough to effect my mood. We suck in a historic way, I've been an LSU diehard for decades, and I'm strangely calm. Too much other stuff happening.

Heard that before. "Man, I would rather go hunting than watch xxxx team play. CFB just isn't that big in my life."

It’s been a dizzying sprint to the bottom. There is enough blame to go around, but it’s also confusing because it doesn’t seem like they should be quite that bad. I thought they’d win 6, losing to Bama, Florida, Aggies, and at least one more. Instead, they are on pace to win 2. There are only two people that can start a turnaround. Orgeron is the first, and if he fails, Woodward will have to get involved.

I have an election to watch, a business to run, a home to maintain, four dependents to pay for, etc. College football is a diversion. It brings me great joy and when we lose-it just sharpens my sense of humor and humility. It's freakin' GREAT to win, but losing for the first time in two decades is not so bad.

I think this year we (AU) are absolutely terrible. Our team looks disinterested often and at odds with each other frequently. We lack identity and it shows.

But I had no idea what a train wreck LSU is until this game.

I want to say that team quit, but I am not really sure they even started on Saturday.

LSU needs some pretty severe course correction quickly.

I wouldn't know anything about that. Since I am a Bama fan like you guys, I only know about stellar play from year to year regardless of natties won

I am going to keep it until we win in BR.

So I maybe next year, or maybe I die with it still there...
