He was 95-96 last year and earlier this year. I’m guessing him being from here he might have a little extra juice for the horns.

I don't remember Wood throwing 98 before now.
I was in Baum during his freshman year and he was dominant as a releaver that game. I don't remember how fast he was throwing but it was real close

We look like fools at the plate. This is discouraging.

Hope he's pacing himself. I'd love to see this for about 3 more innings.

We’ve feasted on some pretty pedestrian pitching thus far in SEC play. We’re not a powerful imposing lineup. I imagine we’ll run into comparable pitching staffs in Omaha.

They'll probably call me in to help figure out how much the wHorns batting average drops after this shitshow.
And I was merely trying to emphasize how terrible your hitters are

I told you if you guys yesterday if throw strikes Texas is in a world of trouble. We don’t hit well. We just have timely hits and most of our runs produced is capitalizing on softening the pitcher up by getting them deep into the count and drawing walks and getting a hit when it matters. We don’t normally string together 3-4 hits an inning to produce runs offensively.

Scheussler catching fly balls is a shite show every time...

Still waiting on Peppi to live up to the hype he got in the preseason.

Wood's curveball is so filthy. Tons of movement on his fastball too.

I have no problem admitting and believing that we are not as good as our W-L record. This post-season could possibly dispose of us quite handily. But we are still impressive for Schloss’ first season, and I see no reason why it shouldn’t keep getting better in coming years.

Vandy pitcher is ridiculous tonight. 1 hit allowed, 10 strikeouts through 5 innings.
