He's faced 10. Stuck out 6, then ground out, walk, and two more strikeouts.

I wanted Skenes to strike out the whole lineup

The most strikeouts recorded in a game by a LSU pitcher is 24 by Butch Mixon. He accomplished the feat on March 28, 1959 and it is also an SEC record.

Air Force did a good job developing him.

Agreed. Can’t wait to see what all American transfers we get this year.

Lemonis threw the child pitcher out there as canon fodder. My disdain for that SOB can not be described.

Msu deserves better. Unfortunately I still think you have to wait until after 2024 to get it.

Does he have obligation left to Serve ? Or how does that work?

LSU has helped him get to another level, he’ll be the first to tell you. Could see him going 2nd in the draft and debuting in the majors next year.

If you transfer before your junior year from an academy you no longer have the obligation to serve. At least that’s what a Naval academy grad told me

Looked safe to me after the review. I guess inconclusive evidence, but I disagree with the umpires on that one

I think that was a major factor in why he transferred. If he would’ve stayed another year then he would’ve had to serve…someone correct me if I am wrong

Thought he got the back of the calf, but that's one of those where whatever's called is gonna stand. No way you can overturn it either way.

Skenes has 25 Ks in his last 11.1 innings. It’s unreal.

He needs 1 more strikeout to match Alex Lange’s 150 Ks in 2017. Lange did that in 124.1 innings. Skenes hasn’t even hit the 80 inning mark yet this year.
