The only reason we are switching to grass is because now we can put grass in that doesn’t need as much water if any. Golf courses have been doing this for a while now to be more environmentally friendly in regards to water consumption.
The whole state of Texas has a water issue and you can read papers from both UT Austin and Texas A&M on the matter.

SEC umps this year have been a complete joke. Dude in the UGA-OU game today was getting torn apart by both dugouts for squeezing pitchers. We had a sequence when Zeldin got squeezed in the 8th inning, took him out for Harris who hit the exact same spot with the same pitch for a called strike not a handful of pitches later. Wes was losing his mind.
