Vanderbilt takes game 1 26-3. They’ve outscored Ole Miss and State 53-7 to move to 4-0.

To be fair, they only scored 27 against us in 3 games. Vandy just scored 26 in 1 game against State

Lemonis just walked into a stockpile of talent that nobody could frick up with or if he stopped caring after winning the title, or both.

Some of both but he won pretty consistently at Indiana so I’m not sure. Feel like he is like Orgeron and doesn’t care now that he got a Natty. Some coaches that’s their ultimate goal then they want to get paid and retire. Others are hell bent on being top dog every year

this game has gone off the rails since B2 Grand Slam from AROLINA.

Sanders T3 was quite the spectacle when his command left him completely. 5 runs now for Missouri on 2 hits T4 as Sanders is chased.

What’s the record for most runs in a sec game?

I know it’s not 26 because State lost to Tennessee the last series of ‘22 by a nice 27-2 margin.

That’s right, state has had a 25 bagger dropped on them two of their last 3 SEC Friday nights.

Sanders issues aside - there's something in the air at Founders tonight - other than baseballs flying over the wall so far. this one's gonna be wild. great weather - full house - there's juice inside and Missouri's feeding off it too.

eta - Gamecock radio has spent the entire broadcast saying home plate Ump Jeff Head's name. this strike zone is ridiculously tight.

Mizzou, the SEC needs y'all to suck in baseball. SEC baseball is already enough of a meat grinder. We all need a pushover SEC team to play. Don't start competing now.

I don’t understand how our pitching is so bad. Our players are highly rated recruits.

You can take the starters off any D1 team and they could do better than this. I think it’s the tighter strike zone, Foxhall loves pitchers with movement who can paint corners and tight strike zones never favored us at all under him. None of our guys have a lot of heat so it’s basically batting practice when we have to throw it down the pipe. LSU seems more fit for a tighter strike zone they have 5 guys throwing upper 90s

When a person says Carolina, we all know that it refers to the real Carolina...South Carolina.

Missouri starting pitcher just took himself out of the game with 2 on 2 out and 2 strikes on Messina hitting for Carolina. called for trainers and coaches and he walked to the dugout.

Missouri 5
Carolina 5
