LSU/Tulane in the early 2000s was a legit rivalry. I hated those frickers.

They had like 9 players drafted that year. Just a random anomaly. We definitely should have beat them. They had a couple low 80s guys with weird arm angles that we just couldn't figure out.

I wasn't all that aware of it tbh. He was on staff at Tulane. Spoke about how yall had the series in the Superdome? Said something like 20k + people would turn out. That is insane.

I had forgotten about that. I think the first year they did it was in 2002 after they beat us in the Supers.

State, Ole Miss, and USM used to go down and play LSU, Tulane, and UNO in the Dome. Was usually around spring party time for most schools and would turn into a long party weekend in NO.
