My nephew whom I thought very highly of, loved and graduated from Ole Miss. He passed away several years back, and we still have his friends from OM to the ranch every hunting season. Great folks,

My favorite uncle was an LSU grad and was GM of a Ford dealership in Lake Charles for many years. He had a running bet with another uncle, a Bama fan, that whoever lost, the loser had to wear the other team’s gear to our family reunion. He died before he could see the streak broken in 2019. He was a cool cat.

You eventually get used to not being able to go outside 6 months a year because its over 100, the giant (armor plated) flying cockroaches, and the insane traffic in Florida.
On the plus side during the winter you get really polite Canadians, even if they keep trying to give you worthless Canadian quarters.
And who doesn't love hurricanes?!?
